Pediatric Home Care Services
UMRI Offers In-Home Care Services to Ages 3 & Up!
UMRI (Home Care Organizations (HCO’s) Offers In-Home Care Services to children, ages 3 and Up! To qualify, the child would need to have a disability of some sort and need assistance with activities they can’t do themselves.

1796.12 (b) “Child” or “children” means an individual or individuals under 18 years of age.
1796.12(n) defines home care services as non-medical services and assistance provided by a registered Home Care Aide to a client who, because of advanced age or physical or mental disability, cannot perform these activities. time.

Levels Of Care

LEVEL 1 - Companion Care
Assistance with basic ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living): light housekeeping, laundry, grooming & personal hygiene, medication reminder, meal planning/prep, grocery shopping, other personal errands, assistance to and from doctors/other appointments, community activities.

LEVEL 2 - Assisted Care
Consumers who are matched with level two care, receive all the benefits of level one (Activities of Daily Living) care, with the addition of assistance for: bathing, dressing, toileting & incontinence care, exercise, going on short walks (If client is willing and able), personalized care needs

LEVEL 3 - Total Care
Receive all three levels of care. Typically paired with clients who are 24/7 around the clock care and/or have medically supervised services such as: home health or hospice care. (In that case, UMRI works with the Home Health or Hospice agency to help keep client as happy and comfortable as possible).
